I highly recommend this site, which is one of the best room tutorial sites on the Web and worth visiting just to look at the wonderful rooms (empty and decorated) that Pat Sherman has designed even if you do not intend to work through any of the tutorials.
The room tutorials are easy to follow. They offer a wide variety as they range from simple designs to the more complex. Many tutorials come with an example of the room shown decorated. Because I employ the tutorials to create "in use" rooms to display Voyager wallpapers, unfortunately I often have to sacrifice elements in order to show as much Voyager wallpaper as possible, so my "in use" pictures are NOT the best adverts for the site because I cannot draw and I have next to no decorating talent - below are pictures to illustrate what I mean.
The site also offers page sets and other graphics items for your use and for your viewing pleasure. There are also valuable hints and tips for webmasters to help in designing or enhancing a site.
