Unlike 24th century Federation starships, the captain of the Relativity has his own control station. On Voyager, the captain and first officer share a small console which is situated between them and which rises into position on demand, but that is far from being the substantial workstation of 29th century captains. On the Relativity, the captain's control station is located in an offset position, near the Briefing Room, on the middle tier of the multi-level Bridge, and is sited so as to provide the captain with a clear view of the main viewscreen and also with sight of the two joined work stations immediately in front of it.
