MIRROR UNIVERSE

Scans and screenshots by Janet.  Text - adapted from section sources. Optimum page viewing.
YELLOW ALERT

The strong visual impact of the Mirror Universe uniforms depends on their comparison with the uniforms being worn in our universe. They are the uniform worn by Starfleet personnel in the Mirror Universe c.2267-68 equating to [TOS] Season 2. As they are not of our universe, pictures and minimal text only are given.

Thanks to Spike's Star Trek Page for the above 7 scans of uniforms plus the colour logo, from TOSTFF/ST:M, tweaked by me. Spike's diligent work saves me a lot of effort! ("Janet, your agoniser, please." "Aaaaargh!")

Officers wore sashes. All uniforms used the customary colour-coding to indicate the department of the wearer - red for security and engineering, blue for medical and science, yellow for command.
Enlisted crew wore attached to the belt an 'agoniser', a device that causes pain when placed in contact with a person's body, employed as painful physical punishment. For instance, when transporter technician Kyle (i.e. mirror-Kyle) is believed by first officer Spock (i.e. mirror-Spock) to have caused damage to imperial equipment, Spock orders Kyle to give him his (Kyle's) agoniser. Spock, then applies it to Kyle, who screams in agony and slumps to the floor. (It can be seen attached to the belt of the security uniform in the above drawings.) There was a scale of physical punishment which included the 'agony booth' into which the victim was placed standing. If the punishment cycle was left on for full duration it meant the victim stayed in there until dead.

Below is a screenshot of uniforms in our universe at the same period, in order to provide a comparison picture.
