HOW TO PLAY: Tuvok says: Type one letter in every square so that each row, each column and each of the 3x3 blocks contains all the nine letters in a particular word - type them in once and once only. The letters are from a [Voyager]-themed word. Solving this kind of puzzle requires what is known as 'single-symbol logic'. Some letters are given to start you off (given symmetrically or unsymmetrically). Solving this type of puzzle requires what is known as 'single-symbol logic'. Many puzzles offer a Clue word in addition: When the letters in the grey squares are correctly completed, they spell out another (non-Voyager) word for which a clue is given. Working out what the word is (no knowledge of [Voyager] needed), and doing so early on, may help you solve other parts of the puzzle. Tuvok-u puzzles are rated at the level generally accepted in Su-doku as "medium".
