The M.I.D.A.S. Array, seen in [#130 Pathfinder] and [#152 Inside Man], is a communications array through which, from 2376, contact is established and maintained between USS Voyager and Starfleet Command. PROJECT PATHFINDER INDEX.

Mintaka III, a Class-M planet, was in 2366 the site of a Federation anthropological field study of the local proto-Vulcan culture. None of that is mentioned in [Voyager] but it is discussed in Stories Involving the Prime Directive: [TNG: Who Watches the Watchers] part of STARFLEET'S PRIME DIRECTIVE
