site section STAR CHARTS.

  1. These maps and diagrams include the Delta Quadrant and U.S.S. Voyager's route. There are also star charts of the Alpha Quadrant and the United Federation of Planets (often abbreviated to "UFP").
  2. The Stellar Cartography part of this section gives relevant information, with the emphasis on [Voyager], regarding places on the star charts, including certain references to other Star Trek.
  3. Each map or diagram opens in the same window. To open it in a new window instead, use your browser's "open link in new window" command or equivalent - you may prefer this option for the larger maps or diagrams.
  4. There is a link to Starch Arts: Image Notes with each map or diagram.
  5. "STSC" stands for Star Trek Star Charts. The standard abbreviations for the canon sources providing scanned maps or diagrams are explained below.
  6. The United Federation of Planets Charts I-IV are provided complete or in segments, with an A-Z place-finder. The A-Z place-finder does not apply to other star charts even if they partly cover UFP space. Where relevant, a link is provided to the list of full UFP members. The Known Space diagram which is included on the UFP Charts I-IV is also provided separately so that you do not have to view the Charts complete nor view the component segments individually. See also Starch Arts: Image Notes regarding these particular Charts.
  7. There is a link to USS Voyager's travel progress (text document) with relevant star charts, and can be read in conjunction with the star charts of Voyager's route.

STSC
Star Trek Star Charts written and illustrated by Geoffrey Mandel. Contributors: Doug Drexler, Tim Earls, Larry Nemecek, Christian Ruhl. Technical Advisors: André Bormanis, Michael Okuda, Tima Saloniemi, Rick Sternbach. Publisher: Pocket Books, © Paramount Pictures. ISBN 07434-3770-5. No copyright infringement intended. Star charts reproduced here are, I am afraid, rather poor reproductions of the splendid originals in this book which contains spectacular star charts and tables with notes and some narrative. The book covers all the Star Trek series up to the route of the starship Enterprise NX-01 in 2151-52. There are some major but mostly minor errors in the book e.g. Janus "IV" instead of Janus "VI" - these are noted in this site section but only if the star chart containing the error is used here. I have scanned only a fraction. I recommend the book very highly. It is also good value for money (published price £12.99 in the UK) considering the superb quality and detail.
