Bellatrix (Gamma Orionis) This star, whose original Arabic name is Bellatrix, Gamma Orionis is the third brightest star in the Orion constellation as viewed from Earth. Janeway gives this information to Admiral Patterson when quizzed about it as she arrives on Voyager for the first time in 2371, [#118 Relativity].
