PATRICK GIBSON AND HIS COUSIN FRANK

Patrick Gibson and another Voyager crewmember frequent the Fair Haven holoprogram. Gibson's cousin probably is not actually his cousin, although his name probably is really Frank.

When Sullivan is being shown around Voyager by Kathryn Janeway, whom he had previously known as Katie O'Clare, two crewmembers go past. The one in the scarlet uniform nods a greeting to Janeway. Sullivan recognises them. "That's Patrick Gibson and his cousin Frank! They work on the wharf. They're in my pub every Saturday night for the rings tournament."

As their gazes follow the two crewmembers, Janeway tells Sullivan: "You'll find a lot of familiar faces on Voyager. We've been visiting your town for months."

Gibson is badly burnt later in the year, on stardate unknown, by an electromagnetic discharge while trying to vent encroaching nebular gas from Deck 7. This is noted in [#145 The Haunting Of Deck 12].

NOTE ABOUT TUVOK

Tuvok does not visit Fair Haven. He informs Paris and Kim that he does not intend to, even though Kim tells him: "I think you'd like it, Commander. It's a great place to meditate."
