AStep down
A series of short steps lead down to the lower level of the Delta Flyer's back room. The fluorescent light from behind the area ensures that the area can be found easily when main illumination is dimmed or damaged. [Would science not have advanced beyond fluorescent lights?]
BOn the wallThere is a wall-mounted computer interface terminal, designed to be utilised in a small space.
CSeating
A number of flat bench seats are provided for personnel to relax on when not required in the cockpit e.g. crewmen William Telfer and Tal Celes enjoyed lunch (pasta soup) from the replicator here together during the mission shown in [#140 Good Shepherd]. The screenshot also shows the replicator and more wall detail, not visible in the 3D cutaway drawing above.
DVersatile space
The relatively open space of the rear area means that the room can be adapted to serve as a tactical room, sickbay, work space, dining area, recreational lounge etc. It may serve all these purposes during a single journey. In [#141 Live Fast and Prosper] the area served to entertain three guests (who later turned out to be scam artists).
EMedical facilities
The Delta Flyer features a single bio-bed that recedes into the bulkhead when not in use.

The bio-bed provides rudimentary treatment until a patient can be delivered to USS Voyager's sickbay.

A sterilised area can be kept around the patient by erecting a forcefield.

It can also be used as a stasis unit in which more seriously injured patients can be placed until a more advanced medical facility can be reached. It can also if necessary be used as a mortuary slab.

In an alternate timeline the biobed was used to store Seven of Nine's dead body, then the Doctor partly dissected Seven of Nine on it in order to extract from inside her head her Borg interplexing beacon and her chronometric node [#100 Timeless].

The bio-bed was also used to smuggle Tom Paris aboard, with the Doctor's mobile emitter in his hand, in [#141 Live Fast and Prosper].

FStorage
A secure storage area contains bulky items such as environmental suits. A mesh fascia allows crewmembers to see what is stored within, and a sliding door provides access.
GBathroomA small bathroom, or head, is located between the two main areas, convenient for access from both the forward cockpit and the aft section.
HAccessThe aft section of the Delta Flyer is accessed through a short passageway. A single door automatically slides into the bulkhead when someone approaches it.
