Voyager and its crew become involved in a civil war raging in the Q Continuum which manifests itself in our universe as a series of supernovas. A female Q has the crew make modifications to Voyager so that they can enter the Q Continuum where they rescue Janeway who has been kidnapped by Q and sentenced to be executed by the opposing Q side, and also the crew intervene to stop the civil war.
The female Q suggests several modifications that allows Voyager to enter the Q Continuum, but the modifications require a complete reconfiguration of the shield array. In order to strengthen the shields so that Voyager can be taken into the supernova, the female Q has Torres take the warp drive offline, remodulate the shields to emit a beta-tachyon pulse and emit a series of focussed antiproton beams to the shield bubble. Torres believes that would increase power to the shields by a factor of ten.
Janeway's bedroom is seen in this episode (also seen in [#24 Persistence Of Vision]), although Q has furnished it in his own way in an attempt to court Janeway.

Janeway's bedroom, as amended by Q
The subspace shockwave from the star collapses the warp field so that Voyager cannot go to warp. When Q leaves Voyager (and the female Q) at the mercy of the shockwaves from three supernovas, shield strength is at 29 per cent, there is hull damage on Decks 9 through 14 and minor injuries are reported on all decks. Warp drive is offline and the shockwaves knock the ship 16 billion kilometres from its previous location.

Voyager is pounded by shockwaves
Only two other starship crews in the history of Starfleet have witnessed a supernova explosion. However, neither of the other crews was as close to the event as the Voyager crew who are less than ten billion kilometres from the first supernova. (I believe the occasions to be: the crew of USS Enterprise NCC-1701 - Minara in 2268 in [TOS: The Empath] and Beta Niobe in 2269 in [TOS: All Our Yesterdays], and the crew of USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D - a red giant star in 2367 in [TNG: Half A Life]. I need to watch the latter episode to double-check the exact events.)
