Captain Proton's universe took elements directly from 1930s/1950s black & white sci-fiction comics and their tv or film dramatisations.
 | Pages 1-4 concentrate on three sources mentioned by Alan Sims and others in the ST:M article (see Sources & Credits): namely Commando Cody, Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, and Flash Gordon. |
