Thanks to the data supplied by USS Voyager via Project Pathfinder, the Federation has obtained gigaquads of information about the Delta Quadrant in all fields of science including xenobiology. By 2377 some of this information was being taught in schools, certainly on Earth and presumably throughout Federation space. Project Pathfinder hosted school trips to its lab as part of the education process. One is seen in [#152 Inside Man], although it is cut short due to an interruption by Lt. Barclay who speaks urgently to Commander Harkins, and the visit cannot continue while information which is currently classified, such as Project Pathfinder's attempt to send a hologram to USS Voyager, is being talked about in front of unauthorised personnel. Delta Quadrant species known to the Federation by 2377 include the Ocampa, Vidiians and the Hirogen. Federation data on the Borg would also have been greatly expanded due to USS Voyager's several encounters, although much of this data, particularly tactical information, would probably have remained classified and not disseminated among schools or other educational and research facilities.
