TROUBLESHOOTING FLASH

After a period experimenting with optional use, as from late April 2002 you need the Flash Player plug-in to view the increasing number of animated episode clips and other items, and to use any Flash navigation interfaces.

If you do not know if you have the Flash Player already installed on your computer: In any case, you might need to get the free upgrade to the latest Flash Player - see below.

Flash Sniffer Check if you have the Flash Player required to view Flash items on this site at Macromedia's website.

Get the free Flash Player or upgrade to the free latest version at www.macromedia.com.
Tips: Always install via a web-browser (why) and only from Macromedia.

About Flash and its use on this site Beam here.

Do you have the Flash Player, JavaScript enabled and a Mac? Flash technical/tutorial sites occasionally warn of compatibility problems in a tiny minority of cases. I often use JavaScript on the same page as a Flash item but I avoid incorporating JavaScript in Flash's programming code (called ActionScript), but I do not know if, even so, there might be a problem if you are viewing the site through a Mac. The site is actually optimised for the Windows platform, MS Internet Explorer 5 - please see Site best viewed with / Essential and Recommended Settings for more information.

If none of the above helps, please contact me and, to save time, mention that you have read this page. I shall do my best to help although, to save time, obviously I have tried to put everything above.
