TALAXIANS FEATURED IN [STAR TREK: VOYAGER]

Brax Son of Dexa and her husband who was killed on the planet Phanos c.2372. Brax and Dexa are inhabitants of the Talaxian asteroid colony encountered by USS Voyager's crew in late 2377. After meeting Neelix there, young Brax, who is interested in starships has at least one model of a Talaxian ship, stowed away on the Delta Flyer in the hope of visiting USS Voyager. His wish was fulfilled shortly afterwards, as was his desire to have Neelix come and live with the colony, after Neelix and his mother fell in love and Neelix left USS Voyager to live with them.

Brax tells his mother the stranger (Neelix) does not look dangerous.

Brax is discovered stowing away on the Delta Flyer - he wants to see USS Voyager.

Neelix tells Tuvok he and Brax are "old friends" and goes to return him to his mother, Dexa. Neelix's fondness for Brax and his protectiveness are evident.

Brax throws a stone at Nocona after Nocona pushes his mother - she would have fallen if she had not been caught by Oxilon.

Brax wants to know why the colonists cannot just go back to Talax. His mother tells him the occupying Haakonians "don't treat Talaxians very well. That's why we left."

Brax and Naomi Wildman play kadiskot and she tells him some of Neelix's past. Earlier they played together in the holodeck program "Invaders From the 9th Dimension".

Brax reproaches Neelix for not getting Nocona to allow the colonists to stay on the asteroid

Brax's look shows he wants Neelix to stay.

Brax, between Dexa and Oxilon, watches as Neelix leaves to return to his responsibilities on USS Voyager.
