In 2371 USS Voyager's away team met a Talaxian prisoner when they were all held captive by Vidiians on Avery III. On that planet the Vidiians maintain a combined scientific installation and forced labour camp for prisoners. At any time prisoners can be killed for organ-harvesting, as happened to Voyager away team member Lt. Pete Durst. The Talaxian prisoner told fellow-prisoner Paris that he has been held captive for 6 years and he was the only one of his crew that is still alive. [Faces].
