Large nets traditionally hang from the ceilings of Hirogen command centres. In Iden's ship the nets are retained but the gruesome trophies have been removed.
The primary control globe is located at the foot of the large central viewscreen. At its peak is a small flat circular surface with three green lights and seven control sticks. Each stick is lifted or depressed in order to activate the various controls.
Large metallic globes are positioned on either side of the command centre. Adjacent to the one marked is the holographic emitter tower for the room which maintains the crew's photonic projections. The platform next to the tower serves as the place where persons being transported aboard arrive.
Stalagmite-shaped pillars of varying sizes are located in several places throughout the command centre. They taper to a clear and needle-like point at the bottom and have a piercing quality of menace. Larger versions of these pillars are incorporated within the command centre's overall structural design and reach from ceiling to floor. The purpose of the smaller versions of these pillars is unknown but could have a symbolic ornamental function.
The control work console is located to provide easy access to all areas of the command centre. Each standing work space is identical and has four green indicator lights.
The main double doorway leads directly to the control work area. The doors recess into the walls and the entrance way is uplit from two panels in the floor.
Large areas are left void of consoles and globes, leaving plenty of room for the crew to move from place to place which is an advantage in any emergency situations.
Secondary doorways lead out of the command centre but they are not used as often as the main door.
Hunt weapons from the previous crew (who were Hirogen hunters) continue to adorn the walls, and are a constant reminder of the grim cycle of being hunted and killed that Iden and his hologram crew once had to endure at the hands of their Hirogen masters.
