ENARANS
 Neelix gets Chakotay to rub his hand with a couple of the ball-like objects and to roll them around in the hands in order to clean and disinfect the hands | The Enarans, except for the minority group known as the Regressives described below (which group no longer exists), are happy in the use of technology such as radioseptics for cleansing. They consider themselves to be a very hygienic people, and use radioseptics to sterilise their hands before they eat and to sterilise their homes. As regards other technology, they possess a communications interlink; and power is generated by microfusion generators. They have energy conservation technology which is new to the Voyager crew, and so in return for transport from the Fima colony to Enara Prime a group of Enarans share this technology. The Enarans also possess spacefaring craft, although none as fast as Voyager thanks to Voyager's high warp capability. |
| The Enarans do not use tables and chairs, though they do sit, and they prefer a slightly colder temperature to that maintained on board a Federation starship crewed mostly by humans.
Tarin juice is considered to be a healthy beverage, although not necessarily a popular one at least with the young which is a deduction I have made since the young Korenna Mirell is encouraged to drink her tarin juice by her father who tells her it is good for her, which is the kind of statement made by a parent to encourage a child to drink something they do not wish to. She takes a sip but as soon as her father leaves her room, she sets down the tarin juice. DATA STORAGE DEVICES
There are at least two visually different types of handheld wireless (i.e. no trailing wires) devices for data input and data storage. These are seen in the following screenshots. One is held by Jareth, and is similar in dimensions (in size and shape including width) to the type of larger Starfleet PADD used on USS Voyager. The other is a thicker shape used by Korenna Mirell (she looks like Torres because Torres is "living" Mirell's memories), and this is the device she is seen using to check off the identities of the Regressives whose names are called out - they come forward, show her their identity tag which hangs around their neck, and she records them against her list.
MUSIC
Enarans enjoy music and skilled musicians are greatly respected. Two acclaimed musicians, one a composer too, are in the group of Enarans on board Voyager en route to Enara Prime from the Fima colony, respectively Jor Brel and Jora Mirell.
