The centre of the lab is dominated by a circular console where highly complex and unstable fractal algorithms are input in order to calculate corrections in a holoprogram's pattern buffer. Stools are provided so that several people can work at the console at the same time.
Animals skeletons and anatomical figures are displayed on the shelves, and these are likely to be of interest to Dr Zimmerman and his team when constructing holographic reproductions. |
The far wall of the lab is dominated by a hologrid which is used to display the various holographic lifeforms.
On walls around the lab, and in the adjoining living area, are works of art which reflect the style of 20th century Earth (see pictures below). Dr Zimmerman owns an extensive art collection, including the 23rd century masterpiece 'Woman in Four Dimensions'. There is also a chair dating back to the First Millennium seen in this picture.

The living area of the adjoining living quarters includes a dining table and chairs near a food replicator, a desk with portable computer, as well as display and storage shelves. There are various art works on display, including paintings and a curved uplighter. | ![]() |
