Destiny plays a large role in Icheb's life, in that his genetic make-up was fashioned by his parents as a weapon against the Borg. By their sinister design, Icheb was sacrificed to the Borg. But thanks to the USS Voyager crew, instead he joins the ranks of the few Borg drones reclaimed from the Hive. 2376:
  • Rescued from the Borg.
  • Starts assisting in the astrometrics lab.
  • Improves Voyager's long-range scanners.
  • Builds a gravimetric array to detect wormholes.
  • Rescued from his parents/the Borg.
  • Takes shuttlecraft piloting lessons.
    		• 2377:
  • Repairs the EPS feed.
  • Saves Seven's life.
  • Starts studying to enter Starfleet Academy.
  • Repairs a malfunctioning holo-emitter.
  • Involved in a 'love triangle'.
  • Discovers Torres' tampering with the EMH program.
  • Befriends Q2; nearly dies of omicron poisoning.
  • Arrives in the Alpha Quadrant.
    • Guided by Seven, his friend and mentor, Icheb becomes a hard-working and dedicated individual who fulfils a useful and satisfying role aboard USS Voyager. His contribution helps the crew reach Earth sooner than expected.
