4. EDUCATIONAL CHILDREN'S STORIES
| The holographic fantasy inhabitants of the Forest of Forever are usually connected with the elements: air, earth, fire, plasma and water. (When Trevis first meets Naomi he says he does not recognise her element and mentions plasma as one of them, indicating that by the 24th century plasma has joined the four major elements first identified by the philosopher-scientists of the ancient Greeks on Earth in the 7th century BC and still only four in the 20th/21st century.) The nature of certain holocharacters, for instance Flotter who represents water, is an important aspect of the children's holoprogram which has been designed to be educational in an entertaining way. The holoprogram's parameters and scenarios encourage the children who play within the stories to explore, solve problems and stimulate their minds. |

Naomi Wildman's experiences, described in the following pages, are the educational kind intended by the holoprogram.
