Access | Turbolifts are situated on either side of the bridge to provide a means of moving to other parts of the vessel. |
Console | The workstations on the bridge are accessed via an array of touch-screen controls and displays. |
Safety rail | A rail runs around the circumference of the bridge's central command area. |
Multi-level | Two steps are located on either side of the bridge, close to the viewscreen, that lead down to the lowest level of the bridge. |
Flight control | The helm and navigation consoles are separate units positioned next to each other on a raised section at the centre of the bridge. |
Status | The master systems display monitor positioned at the rear of the bridge provides up-to-date information on the ship at all times. |
Exit | Two doorways are located on either side of the master systems display at the rear of the bridge, with control panels positioned on the bulkhead beside them. |
Center seat | The captain's chair is specifically positioned to provide the commanding officer with instant access to all the bridge stations. A number of controls are also situated on the arms of the chair. |
Fittings | The upper level of the bridge is covered in a light-grey carpet while the lower central section utilises bare metal surfaces. |
Comfortable | Most of the workstations feature low-backed chairs which can be moved between consoles. |
