PRIVATE QUARTERS

[#71 Day Of Honor]
When Voyager entered an uneasy alliance with the Borg [#69 Scorpion, Part Two], Seven and a group of Borg drones beamed over to Voyager to escape the self-sacrifice of their cube to the attacking Species 8472. They assimilated cargo bay 2.

After Seven's link with the Collective was severed, cargo bay 2 remained her quarters. It contains the alcove (nearest the doors) where she regenerates.

These are probably the least private quarters on the ship. It is still used as a cargo bay, and people seem to enter without signalling first for permission.

Seven regenerates and assimilates months' worth of data via the subunit
[#129 The Voyager Conspiracy]
In 2376, in [#129 The Voyager Conspiracy], Seven modifies her alcove to function as a cortical processing subunit to assimilate while she regenerates, the data comprising sensor scans, navigational projections, engineering updates, away team reports, scientific analyses etc., and so that in a matter of hours she will assimilate several months' worth of data. However when she correlates the information, at first it is a worthwhile exercise as she deduces the existence of photonic fleas which are damaging ship's systems, but then by false logic she deduces the existence of conspiracies (one by Janeway to conquer the Alpha Quadrant, another one perpetrated by Chakotay). Eventually she is obliged to de-install the unit.

Seven does not always pursue wholly work-related activities in Cargobay 2, as explained below.

Neelix delivers a box of PADDs containing her parents' logs which she reads - not only does she ascertain information about a biodampener device to help shield crewmembers from Borg detection during a forthcoming away mission, but she also learns a lot about herself as a child and about her parents, [#109 and #110 Dark Frontier]

In late 2375, in [#116 Someone To Watch Over Me], the Doctor shows Seven that she has an interest in music. She correctly identifies the basic musical phrase in the major mode which he displays on her monitor.

After she sings the tune displayed, la-la-la, the Doctor realises: "Seven, has anyone ever told you, you have a beautiful voice? It's a true gift."
Seven, not realising she is quashing the compliment as she informs him rapidly: "The gift is from the Collective - a vocal subprocessor designed to facilitate the sonic interface with Borg transponders."
They go on to sing a duet "You Are My Sunshine".
