She became an enemy of Chakotay and Voyager when she worked for the Kazon-Nistrim, whose ambition was to seize Federation technology, if possible seize Voyager herself. The Maquis crewman and spy Michael Jonas preferred to deal with Seska direct whenever possible [Lifesigns, Investigations].

Culluh [State of Flux]

Seska becomes the lover and advisor of the Kazon-Nistrim's First Maje, Jal Culluh, and the pair became particular enemies of Voyager.

Seska masterminded the attack against Voyager, shown in [#27 Maneuvers], in which a Federation transporter module was stolen; its possession was to be used to help Culluh unite the Kazon factions with himself at their head. Chakotay went after the transporter module alone; he was captured and tortured by Culluh in Seska's presence. She took a DNA sample from him and informed Chakotay that she had impregnated herself with the DNA.

Seska was present when Culluh met Janeway and Tuvok to discuss a Nistrim-Voyager alliance, but Culluh insisted on an exchange of crews. Seska tried to get Culluh to defer his idea but he silenced her. He believed that women were inferior creatures, and this, together with Janeway's original instincts, made Janeway terminate the interview without making any alliance.

When Voyager allied with the Trabe, the original masters and persecutors of the Kazon, Seska persuaded Culluh, against his original wishes, to attend the peace conference that was called on Sobras. During that conversation, she told Culluh she was pregnant with his son.
