Paramount Pictures through Pocket Books published the script in the book 'The Star Trek Script Books: Book 2'. I used it extensively when compiling the Episode Guide commentary but checked it word for word against the dialogue as aired on television because the scripts (all drafts including those in the above-mentioned book) differ, sometimes a lot, from aired dialogue (which is why I disapprove of source VC generally placing apparently more reliance on scripts than on the aired episodes). The book says: (My Episode Guide deals with the action as it occurs in the aired episode and not as indicated in the script in that book because there are a lot of differences, far more so than with dialogue. Examples are in the PERSONAL LOG entry for this episode via [Scorpion] Episode Index.)"The contents of this book consist of Star Trek shooting scripts presented in much the same form as the actors and production staff would hav originally received them at the start of filming. Due to changes made on the set and in postproduction, it is possible that these scripts are not absolutely word-for-word identical to the final broadcast." Note that the script pages appear in the book on white paper but my scans are coloured. That was just to reduce the image Kb-size by reducing the number of colours, in order to reduce download from approximately 102Kb to about 18Kb. My colours have nothing whatsoever to do with the fact that during production of the episode the various draft versions of the script were colour-coded to help cast and staff keep track of version numbers. Onto the script excerpts (pages open in a pop-up):
Part One: Act 3: Chakotay, Tuvok and Kim go on an away mission inside a crippled Borg cube to investigate a bio-mass attached to the cube's hull. During the mission Chakotay and Tuvok explore an alien spaceship, and Kim is struck down by the alien pilot. This is the first appearance of Species 8472.
Addendum to Part One not in the aired broadcast; another Addendum, part of which did air, is discussed in PERSONAL LOG. Cartoon script image from Art Explosion CD-ROM.
