Holo-Leonardo is not seen in this episode. The Doctor takes the role of Leonardo but, apart from drawing the model, does not do anything "Leonardo-like". Apart from the Doctor and Seven, there are holographic characters in the holo-workshop.

In the above screenshot the following can be seen, left to right: part of Leonardo's flying machine, part of Leonardo's set of drawings being some of the numerous ones he drew to illustrate his text about proportion and movement of the human form as regards the art and practice of painting, and his famous painting "Virgin And Child With St Anne". The famous painting "Mona Lisa" is not seen in this episode, though it is seen as a preliminary sketch then as a painting in [68 and 69 Scorpion] and [74 The Raven].

[75 Scientific Method]

The above screenshot shows the Holodeck controls which are ingeniously located within the writing desk. For a Trekkie, that fact might spice up a re-watch of the penultimate scene in the earlier story [68 and 69 Scorpion] in which Janeway is writing her log on parchment on the writing desk.

Note the label on the desk, which due to its rectangular shape with rounded corners and where the text is on it, is one of the standard item labels seen around USS Voyager - samples shown below, from [43 Basics Part Two], being the label on the monitor of a Voyager shuttlecraft, and from Voyager's Sickbay lab in [46 The Swarm].

[75 Scientific Method], in the background can be seen Leonardo's famous painting "John The Baptist", which is stacked against "The Annunciation"

In the above screenshot, on the Doctor's command a type-4 micro-inducer is provided by the computer which puts it into the bucket hanging on the righthand side of the desk - hardly any of the bucket can be seen on the television screen - and the Doctor reaches into the bucket for it, watched by Seven. Part of the bucket can also be seen in this screenshot from [79 Concerning Flight].

[75 Scientific Method], excerpt of the above to show "John The Baptist" more clearly

"Green" and distorted images below are what Seven sees after the Doctor adjusts her Borg sensory nodes to a phase variance of .15 using the type-4 micro-inducer.

[75 Scientific Method], sitting on a barrel is a 3-dimensional geometrical shape constructed by Leonardo, as a result of his interest in geometry, and he illustrated the influential book "The Divine Proportion" by his friend Luca Pacioli.

[75 Scientific Method], the painting stored on its side is Leonardo's famous "The Anunciation"

[75 Scientific Method], the skeleton infers Leonardo's deep interest in human anatomy; much of his research was done by drawing observations after dissection dead human bodies, and had to be done with as much secrecy as possible as the Church would have considered his behaviour to be heresy, and late in his life he was actually specifically banned from dissection by the Pope which hampered his studies

Also visible in the screenshot above, between "The Annunciation" and the coat-stand, is a paddle being part of Leonardo's design for a paddleboat. click for informationclick for information

[75 Scientific Method], the Doctor as Leonardo, and starship label is again seen on the desk

[75 Scientific Method], the two crossbows mounted on the wall signify Leonardo's study of crossbow operation for his invention of at least two crossbow machines - a large one on wheels and a multi-firing one powered by men on a treadwheel
