The Doctor sprints down the corridor.

Chased by Tuvok, the Doctor disappears through the Holodeck doors. But when Tuvok arrives the doors stay shut. Tuvok: "Computer, open the Holodeck doors." Computer: "Unable to comply. Access to the Holodeck has been restricted." Tuvok: "Security override, Tuvok-sigma-four."

The holodeck doors open. Tuvok is met by a multitude of Doctors!

Tuvok: "Computer, end program." Computer: "Unable to comply. Holodeck controls are offline." Tuvok, via comms: "Tuvok to Engineering. Shut down power to Holodeck 2." Torres via comms: "It looks like the Doctor's rerouted the power relays. It'll take a minute or two to bypass them."

Tuvok: "Doctor, I've re-configured my phaser to disrupt your holomatrix. Surrender yourself now."

The real Doctor crawls hurriedly through one of the crawlways in the Jefferies tube network.

When Torres succeeds all the false holo-images of the Doctor disappear.

Tuvok: "Tuvok to bridge. Can you locate the Doctor on internal sensors?" Paris, in the captain's chair: "I'm not reading him. He must've masked his signature somehow." Tuvok: "Try scanning for the polydeutonic alloy in his emitter. Shut down all turbolifts and transporters." Paris: "Acknowledged."

The Doctor, now using Chakotay's holographic template, goes to Engineering via the Jefferies tubes. He hurries into Engineering.

Doctor/'Chakotay' to Torres: "Get your people out of here. The core's about to breach." Torres: "I'm not detecting an overload." Doctor/'Chakotay': "You're getting false readings. The Doctor's reprogrammed your sensors."

Torres: "Alright, everybody out! Now! Move it!" The engineering staff leave.

Doctor/'Chakotay': "You too, B'Elanna." Torres: "I might be able to stabilise the containment field." Doctor/'Chakotay': "You're not putting your baby in danger. Go!" Torres: "You better be right behind me."

As Torres starts to leave, the comm. system signal activates. "Paris to Torres. I'm picking up the Doctor's emitter in your section."

She turns. Via comms: "Where?" Paris, via comms: "Right next to the warp core."

She and 'Chakotay' exchange looks as she realises the Doctor is using Chakotay's holographic template.

As she rushes to a computer console, the Doctor/'Chakotay' erects a forcefield around her.

Doctor/'Chakotay': "Computer, activate Emergency Command Hologram." The Doctor transforms into ECH mode. Computer: "All command codes have been transferred to the ECH."

Doctor: "Prepare to eject the warp core. Authorisation ECH omega-four-two." Torres: "Doctor, don't do this."

Computer: "Warp ejection system enabled." Doctor: "Computer, eject the core."

The warp core is ejected.

a hatch opens in Voyager's keel, at the bottom of Deck 15, and the warp core slides out into space.

Voyager's warp core is ejected (pop-up window) [#71 Day of Honor] and [#170 Renaissance Man] The ECH (i.e. the Doctor) orders the computer to eject the warp core, and the sound of the warp core disengaging and ejecting, from [Renaissance Man].

Doctor: "Computer, lock onto my mobile emitter and transport me to the Delta Flyer. Computer: "Transporters are offline."

Paris: "Tuvok, we just lost main power and internal sensors are down." Tuvok: "The Doctor has just entered Jefferies tube one-one-alpha. Send a security team to the Shuttlebay."

The Doctor, now impersonating Torres, climbs out of one of the crawlways in the Jefferies tube network and runs down the corridor toward the Shuttlebay.

But Tuvok is waiting by the Shuttlebay doors as the Doctor/'Torres' arrives. Tuvok: "Lieutenant." Doctor/'Torres': "I think the Doctor's heading for the escape pods."

Tuvok checks the readout from his tricorder scan - it is the Doctor. He draws his phaser.

Doctor/'Torres': "You wouldn't shoot a pregnant woman, would you?" Tuvok: "Come with me, Doctor."

As the Doctor/'Torres' escapes past Tuvok by using the corridor ceiling, he grabs Tuvok's phaser.

The Doctor/'Torres' gets past Tuvok by running up the wall, across the ceiling and down again. On his way across the ceiling he grabs Tuvok's phaser. (pop-up window)

The Doctor stuns Tuvok with a blast of phaser fire, then runs into the Shuttlebay.

Zet, Nar and Janeway can see Tuvok on the ground (seeing through the Doctor's visual subroutines).

Paris, via comms: "Tuvok, someone's launching the Flyer. Tuvok!" But Tuvok cannot hear him - he lies unconscious on the floor outside the Shuttlebay.

The Doctor pilots the Delta Flyer away from Voyager, seizing the ejected warp core in a tractor beam as he does so. So far Zet and Nar's plan has succeeded!
