REPRESSION : Episode 150 : portrayed in several parts

Janeway accuses Chakotay: "You said you wouldn't hurt anyone." Calmly Tuvok turns and sets down his glass, so that he holds only the phaser. She turns to Tuvok, talking now for her life. "You're in control of your actions, not Chakotay, not Teero."
Chakotay questions Tuvok's hesitation. "Tuvok?
Janeway makes a last appeal to Tuvok: "Don't do this."

Tuvok fires the phaser! But the phaser has no charge and does not fire properly.

Tuvok hands the phaser back, stating: "This phaser is defective."

Chakotay orders Yosa: "Take her back to the Brig."

He tells Tuvok after Janeway is taken away: "You pass." He signals to Ayala, who leaves.

Alone with Tuvok, whom he now trusts completely, Chakotay turns his back on him as he starts about ship's business. "Now we've got some tactical issues to review. I want to re-route all weapons control to my command console-"
Tuvok comes up behind Chakotay, attacks him and forces another mind-meld on him. "My mind to your mind, my thoughts to your thoughts."

USS Voyager in orbit round the planet the Maquis intend to leave the Starfleet crew.

Chakotay and Tuvok enter the Bridge.
Torres to Chakotay, without turning roung: "Kim and Paris engineered a little break-out on deck 6. We've contained them all behind a forcefield. We should begin the evacuation, start beaming them down. Begin on deck 2, section 01."

Chakotay: "Belay that order."
Torres looks at him in surprise. "Tuvok informed me that this planet has an unstable atmosphere. Go to Astrometrics and scan for an alternative."
Torres: "What are you talking about? There's nothing wrong with the atmosphere."
Chakotay: "We don't have time to debate this."
Torres: "I can scan from here."
She heads for Ops but stops by Chakotay as she.....

......senses something is wrong. "Chakotay, what's going on?"
She looks round. There is a tense hiatus.

Suddenly she reaches for her phaser, but Chakotay has been expecting it and draws first. Tuvok has drawn his phaser and covers other bridge personnel, ordering them: "Stand down."

Tuvok and Chakotay rush into the Brig. Tuvok, phaser out, takes the security guard there by surprise. "Your weapon," states Tuvok. The guard, Yosa, realising the odds, hands over the phaser rifle.

Chakotay deactivates the forcefield of the holding cell.
Chakotay tells Janeway: "Thought you might like your ship back."

The forcefield is deactivated. As she and the security guard step warily out of the holding cell, she asks him grimly: "No more rebellion?"
Chakotay: "It took another mind-meld with Tuvok but I'm fine."

Janeway: "Tuvok, you're alright?"
Tuvok answers her: "I'm in control again, Captain."
Chakotay: "Whatever you said to him, it worked."
Janeway to Tuvok: "It's good to have you back, Commander."
The three leave the Brig together - they have a ship to set to rights.

Once the affected Maquis crew have had Teero's influence removed and the ship has returned to normal, a holodeck showing of a black and white science fiction movie is to be shown for as many crew who wish to go.

Chakotay joins Tuvok as the latter walks along a corridor entering information in a PADD.
Chakotay: "All ready for 'Attack of the Lobster People'?"

Tuvok: "I'm not familiar with that species."
Chakotay, trying to suppress a grin: "You will be, soon enough."
Tuvok: "I haven't completed my security rounds."
Chakotay takes the PADD from him. "You have now."

They enter the Holodeck. They are met by Neelix offering two popcorn cartons: "Buttered or unbuttered?"
Chakotay: "Thank you, Neelix." He takes some popcorn and goes and takes a seat.

There are a number of crew there, and there are also holo-characters. Chell is moving his fingers in front of his hands to try out the 3D goggles.

Tuvok joins Janeway after she signals him. She tells him: "I saved you a seat."

Tuvok: "How long is this....'entertainment'?"
Janeway: "I'm not sure. Tom said something about a 'double feature'. I've been meaning to ask you: how did you know that phaser wasn't charged?"

Tuvok: "Chakotay doubted my loyalty. He wouldn't have given me an active weapon."
Janeway: "Not exactly iron-clad logic."
Tuvok: "Call it a 'hunch'."
The lights go down and the entertainment begins.

Janeway: "Remind me to pay more attention to your hunches."
Behind them the same holo-woman who "shhh"ed Paris and Torres days before now does the same to Janeway and Tuvok. They turn toward her briefly.

Then as the main feature starts, Janeway and Tuvok put on the 3D goggles and settle down to watch the black-and-white 1930's sci-fi movie 'Attack Of The Lobster People'.
