Voyager goes to alert at the approach of a Borg sphere, but it turns out that it is commanded by Korok, the Klingon, who has taken over the sphere and come to join Voyager "in battle".

Seven isolates the interlink frequency for Unimatrix Zero and transmits it to Korok.

Korok.

Simultaneously Korok's sphere...

....and Voyager start destroying Unimatrix Zero.

The Borg Queen realises the destruction of Unimatrix Zero means she has lost her chance to contact or destroy the errant drones. When she orders the adapted nanovirus to be brought to her, Janeway tells her it is too late.
Borg Queen: "Is this your compromise?"
Janeway: "I don't compromise with Borg."

Korok and Voyager attack the tactical cube.

Axum and Seven say a desperate farewell to each other as Unimatrix Zero is being destroyed around them. "I'll find you," Axum promises.

The Borg Queen orders the tactical cube to self-destruct. Voyager and Korok's sphere retreat and only just manage to escape the blast.

At the last second, when the tactical cube's shields are down, Voyager beams Janeway, Tuvok and Torres back aboard.

In Sickbay, Tuvok's road to recovery will take longer than Janeway's or Torres'. Seven visits Janeway. The Doctor has just removed the spinal clamps. Seven admits that Axum was more than just a friend.

Normally the Delta Flyer flies across the screen pulling a banner that reads 'The End'. The Delta Flyer is unable to appear this time as the Borg destroyed it in this story.
