Paris ducks an explosion. The impact causes part of Tuvok's rear console to explode. Everyone is rocked on their feet.

Janeway, recovering her balance, as her hair, sent flying by the explosion, falls back into place: "The away team, Mr Kim?"

Kim: "I got them."

USS Voyager cruising at warp speed.

Soon afterwards in Voyager's Sickbay. Chakotay to Torres: "Maybe the meditation's working." Torres: "What makes you say that?" Chakotay: "From what Neelix told me." Approvingly: "You kept your temper in check over there." Torres: "Don't expect me to make a habit of it."

The Doctor comes over to her: "Well, I've repaired most of your cellular degradation."

He turns to Fesek: "I wish I could say the same for you, but you've suffered long-term systemic damage. Your condition will deteriorate over time." Fesek: "It's an occupational hazard."

Janeway: "We've contacted a Malon transport ship in the next sector. We've altered course to rendezvous with them." Fesek: "Thank you, Captain. I don't know how I'm going to explain what happened."

Torres: "Tell them the truth. Tell them the Vihaar is no myth." Fesek does not look happy at the thought.

An exhausted Torres slowly enters her quarters and takes all but her vest.

She enters her bathroom, removing her vest.

She pauses at the mirror and looks at herself.

Reflected back to her, in her mind, are images of her beating down the Vihaar when she vented her anger on him.

sonic shower off

Finally she moves wearily into the sonic shower.

In the sonic shower.

Torres: "Computer, activate sonic shower."

The sonic shower starts to remove the dirt and grime. The act of cleansing has also begun for Torres - she has started to deal with her anger.
