DARK FRONTIER Episodes 109 & 110 Part G

 

Tuvok and Kim head for the rendezvous co-ordinates, .....

.....as do Janeway and Seven.

Borg Queen, via her neural transceiver: "Seven of Nine." Seven stops, dismayed.

Janeway notices that Seven has stopped.

Janeway: "Seven, keep moving!"

Seven: "No. I wish to stay. I intend to rejoin the Collective."

Janeway aims her phaser rifle at her: "I can't let you do that." Seven: "You have no choice." Janeway: "Keep moving. That's an order!"

A forcefield activates between them. Seven: "Go!"

Voyager's Bridge. Chakotay, via comms: "Chakotay to away team. The sphere has detected Voyager. They've altered course to intercept and they're charging weapons. We've got to get you out of there now." Paris: "400,000 kilometres and closing." Chakotay: "Full power to weapons."

Borg sphere. Janeway: "I'm not leaving without you!" Seven: "Then you will be assimilated."

A drone approaches from behind. Janeway spins round and blasts it with her phaser rifle. The drone falls.

Two drones come up behind Seven - she is a prisoner.

Tuvok and Kim find their way blocked by two drones.

The two drones.

Tuvok: "They can see us." Kim: "How?" Tuvok: "I don't know." With a head movement he indicates to Kim and they go back the way they have come. They will find another way to the rendezvous co-ordinates.

Janeway hurries to the rendezvous co-ordinates.

Tuvok and Kim are already there, waiting. Kim is alarmed to see that Seven is not with Janeway.

Janeway hurries.

Janeway: "Bridge, we're in position. Three to beam up." Chakotay, via comms: "Three?" Janeway: "Energise."

The three are beamed up

The away team hurry onto Voyager's Bridge from the turbolift. Chakotay: "Where's Seven?" Janeway: "She had a change of heart. Report."

Chakotay: "The sphere is changing course. They're retreating." Torres: "They're bringing the remaining transwarp coils online." Janeway: "Pursuit course. Target their propulsion system."

But the Borg sphere enters a transwarp conduit.

Paris: "They're gone, Captain."

Janeway stares. The Borg have Seven!
