 | Tuvok taps his combadge. "We are at the shield matrix. Stand by."
Kim: "The primary shield generator. I've got it."
Tuvok, pointing: "Spatial charges, here, there and there." |
 | Kim puts away his tricorder and reaches for the case he brought. |
 | He opens the case. |
 | Inside the case are three explosive charges. |
 | Janeway and Seven.... |
 | ....continue toward their destination.... |
 | ....which is a chamber containing a transwarp coil. As they enter, Janeway takes the transport enhancer from Seven while Seven goes to open the coil housing. |
 | The housing opens. |
 | Janeway starts to set up the transport enhancer. |
 | Back on Voyager, Chakotay is watching the timer. |
 | Chakotay, via comms to the away teams: "You've got 55 seconds." |
 | Kim attaches the last of the explosive charges. |
 | Tuvok: "Tuvok to Janeway. Charges set. We're returning to the transport co-ordinates." |
 | Seven disengages the warp coil from its circuitry.
Seven: "The transwarp coil is offline."

 | Janeway activates the enhancer.
Janeway, via comms: "Tuvok, now." |
 | As Tuvok and Kim return to the rendezvous co-ordinates, Tuvok orders: "Activate the charges."
Kim presses a button on his tricorder. |
Below 4 pictures: Kim's explosive charges detonate, damaging the Borg systems and putting their shield generator offline.
 | Janeway, via comms: "Bridge, their shields are down. Energise." |
 | Chakotay: "Tom?"
Paris moves quickly (his chair has castors) to his left to access the right console.
Paris: "I've got a lock."

 | The warp coil is beamed off the Borg sphere.
Chakotay, via comms: "Target obtained." |
 | Tuvok and Kim walk briskly to the rendezvous co-ordinates. They cannot run in case the drones perceive them as a threat, but they have little time before the Borg's shields regenerate, which would trap them on board! |
 | Janeway and Seven also walk briskly toward the rendezvous co-ordinates. |
 | The last seconds count down on the timer.
Chakotay, via comms: "You're out of time. |
 | The drone. |
 | Another drone approaches. If allowed, it will stand next to the other, completely blocking Tuvok's and Kim's way. Tuvok fires at this drone. |
 | The drone falls. |
 | Kim fires his phaser.... |
 | ....at the other drone. |
 | Kim and Tuvok continue on their way to the rendezvous co-ordinates. |
 | Janeway fires her phaser rifle.... |
 | ....at a drone, one of a pair that block the way. But Tuvok has fired a phaser rifle and the phaser blast does not penetrate. The drones keep coming!
Janeway to Seven: "They've adapted."
