        THE IDIC PAGE DESIGN
The page design, which I created with Paint Shop Pro, features the Vulcan symbol for the tenet "infinite diversity in infinite combinations" (acronym IDIC). Image source Encyclopaedia. The episode guide's text is the darkest red in that symbol. The button edges are two greys in that symbol.

        THE IDIC SYMBOL
The "infinite diversity in infinite combinations" tenet, mentioned in [Gravity] as a cornerstone of Vulcan philosophy, was first mentioned in Star Trek in [TOS: Is There In Truth No Beauty?], an episode depicting events aboard the USS Enterprise NCC-1701 in 2268. In late 2370 Quark planned to sell IDIC pins on the monitors of Deep Space 9 [DS9: The Jem'Hadar].

        IDIC BEHIND-THE-SCENES
Gene Roddenberry and William Ware Theiss designed the symbol, which is commonly used as the Vulcan national symbol.
