MEDICAL LOGS
RELATIVITY
Season 5 : Episode 118
EMH SPECIFICATION:
At the time of Voyager's launch, the Doctor was programmed with over 5 million medical procedures (first noted in
[#8 Ex Post Facto]) and the medical knowledge of 3,000 cultures. The Doctor mentions the 5 million statistic again in
[#133 Virtuoso].
MEDICAL REPORT:
Seven has a problem with the adjustment of her ocular implant and, prior to the Doctor's arrival to deal with it, looked up her condition in the medical database and came to the conclusion that she is suffering from Albright-Salzman syndrome. The Doctor says that syndrome is a rare neurological condition which has not affected a single human being for over two centuries i.e. she is incorrect: "….we can safely say you're suffering from a mild case of sensory aphasia, a minor disruption to your neuro-receptors, neither rare, nor life-threatening."

DOCTOR'S LOG:
The following occurs in an altered timeline and is not true by the end of the episode. Due to a saboteur planting a force-3 temporal disruptor device designed to destroy Voyager, the ship suffers temporal distortions which are fracturing space-time throughout the ship. The Doctor identifies such an anomaly when he is summoned via comms. by Neelix to the Messhall to treat a crewmember, but when he arrives the crewmember is at first fine and Neelix has not made the call. The Doctor realises that Sickbay and the Messhall are in two different time periods, differing by several minutes - he did receive a call from Neelix; Neelix just has not made it yet: "In Sickbay, it's 1500 hours 43 minutes, but in the Messhall it's 1536." (seven minutes earlier).

To Admiral Patterson and Janeway: "Did you call me to chitchat or is there an actual emergency?"
