MEDICAL REPORT:

The Starfleet message transmitted to Voyager via the Hirogen array contains, according to the alien named Arturis, co-ordinates at which they find what seems to be a prototype Federation Starship to bring the Voyager crew home. The prototype, called USS Dauntless, possesses an advanced propulsion drive known as a quantum slipstream drive. An away team test-drives the Dauntless. The Doctor examines them afterwards (see DOCTOR'S QUOTE) - the examination is not seen on television but he reports the results at a staff meeting afterwards in the Briefing Room, reporting that he ran medical projections and the results are encouraging.
