DOCTOR'S LOG:

The Doctor makes an impromptu and unappreciated speech on the occasion of the inauguration of the newly upgraded Astrometrics Lab. The following information occurs in alternate timelines and is not true at the end of the episode. Voyager experiences several timeline changes caused by Krenim scientist Annorax, in command of a ship whose main weapon, which he invented, can erase people and objects from history and thus change history. The weapon-ship is in a state of temporal flux, existing outside space-time. The weapons are chroniton based and penetrate shields because they are also in temporal flux. Annorax's aim is to undo an error he made two centuries earlier when he devastated the Krenim Empire and lost his wife in the process.

MEDICAL REPORT:

It is at this time that Kes absorbs the chroniton radiation which will cause her to age backwards, as depicted in the earlier episode  [#63 Before And After] (see entry. The temporal variance of the chroniton torpedo is 1.47 microseconds, which detail is first learned in that earlier story. The following information occurs in alternate timelines and is not true at the end of the episode. Tuvok is blinded by a torpedo explosion.

Torres is badly injured and suffers a ruptured vertebra.

MORGUE RECORD:

The following information occurs in an alternate timeline and is not true at the end of the episode. Ensign Strickland and Crewman Emmanuel are killed when deck 5 explodes. When it becomes clear the pair will be unable to reach safety in time before the explosion, the Doctor closes the Jefferies tube hatch on them and shuts them out, deciding that his duty is to save those already safe in the Jefferies tube. It is unclear how many other crew members are lost during the first part of this story.

It is not explained why the crew make no mention of the information gathered from Kes' interaction with the Krenim as depicted in  [#63 Before and After]. Possibly the information is utilised, because events unfold slightly differently, such as Janeway and Torres not dying.

When I was first activated on Stardate 48315, and I found myself mano a mano with the Delta Quadrant I didn't think we'd survive a week, let alone three years. There was strife. There was discord.
