MEDICAL REPORT:

While the mag-lev carriage rises from the planet surface heading for the ionosphere, Tuvok injects the group of Nezu plus Neelix with tri-ox compound to oxygenate their blood. Though not seen in the episode, the Doctor doubtless gives Neelix and Tuvok thorough medical examinations after their experiences on the Nezu colony world, which experiences included physical assaults by Etanian agent Sklar.

OTHER MEDICAL DATA:

When gathering items to take on the away mission, Neelix visits Sickbay and requests "analeptic compounds" as part of the medical supplies to take. Tuvok (the Doctor is not present on the away mission) determines that Dr Vatm was poisoned when his cardiopulmonary tissues began to deteriorate. Tricorder readings indicate that his water supply was contamination with a lydroxide corosive, the coolant used in the tether couplings.

DOCTOR'S QUOTE:

To Neelix about his part in an away mission to be commanded by Tuvok: "Vulcans are notoriously difficult to impress. Mr Tuvok seldom acknowledges my brilliance. A word of advice, Mr Neelix: try to restrain your enthusiasm. You're there to observe and learn."
