HOLOPROJECTORS:

Torres and Kim work on setting up holo-emitters in key areas such as Engineering and the Bridge to extend the Doctor's mobility. They found several holoprojectors in storage and are reconfiguring them one by one. However, when they invoke the Doctor's program it he appears very small, and Torres says: "I guess imaging interface wasn't properly stabilised." See screenshot below.

MEDICAL REPORT:

Janeway's last shore leave was two months ago, and she has made a habit of skipping meals; the Doctor notes that she is under stress and, as chief medical officer, orders her to rest (after noting it is probably the first time a hologram has given an order to a captain). Later, all the crew except for the Doctor and Kes (due to her mental powers) succumb to hallucinations which are caused by a massive bioelectric energy field emanating from Botha ships on a delta wave frequency. The field permeates the hull with its psionic properties resulting in a psychoactive effect.

Janeway defends herself in her quarters against an attacking holocharacter, but discovers it was an hallucination and she is actually in Sickbay where there is no holocharacter

In an unsuccessful effort to block the effects of the field the crew remodulates shields on a rotating basis while Torres sets up a resonance burst from the warp core as a more permanent solution. When Torres is overcome by the hallucinations, Kes must finish the job by sequencing the magnetic plasma constriction using a formula of T=C₁/Theta x P_E. The Doctor consults Starfleet's interactive database to walk her through the operation. First Kes activates the command module and selects magnetic plasma sequencing. Then she raises the core temperature to 3 million kelvins and activates the warp field to emit the burst, successfully reviving the crew.

MEDICAL ADMINISTRATION:

Starfleet regulations direct that the chief medical officer outranks the captain in health matters. (This is also noted in  [#77 Year Of Hell, Part 2].) The Doctor notes that this is probably the first time a hologram has given an order to a captain.
