MEDICAL REPORT:

Chakotay devises a plan to help the outcast Kazon-Ogla youth named Kar to gain his Ogla name - Kar will kill him, Voyager will retrieve his body and revive him. Accordingly Chakotay orders tells Paris to have the Doctor prepare for a Code White resuscitation, which means that Federation technology can resuscitate someone who has been brain-dead for two minutes. However, Chakotay's plan is not used because Kar executes his own alternative plan to successfully win his Ogla name, thus reinstating himself within the Ogla warrior society.
