MEDICAL REPORT:

When the Voyager crew revive a number of humans from stasis who had been kidnapped in 1937, they are attacked when they leave the cryostasis chamber. One of them, Fred Noonan, co-pilot of the famous aviatrix Amelia Earhart, is hit and is attended by the Doctor in Sickbay. The Doctor diagnoses: "Severe trauma to the thorassic cavity, lacerated carotid artery." One of the medical tools he uses is a vascular regenerator. The alcohol level in Noonan's body is so high that it initially inhibits the repair of his circulatory system.
