As a member of Species 8472 has 3 legs, "3 legs good, 2 legs bad" is my take-off of the tenet "4 legs good, 2 legs bad" which appears in the satirical novel Animal Farm by the British writer George Orwell. I chose this particular easel/drawing board as it is a good drawing and also because it has 3 legs, an extra joke. The handwriting (?claw-writing) slopes downwards as that is what often happens when people write on blackboards.
